Rules

Now for some rules.
  • Driver may choose to enter this competition on their on, or with a partner. If you choose to enter with a partner, you must share one car between the two of you.
  • Stages must be played in order, and you cannot start a new stage until the current stage is finished (and the car has been gifted for partners).
  • If 2 entrants are on the same stage at the same time, they may play in the same lobby against each other, but are not required to. Drivers must drive cleanly or will be disqualified.
  • After all stages have been finished, the total times for all stages will be added up for each entrant/team and a winner will be decided.
  • Upon completion of a stage, the entrant/team MUST POST PROOF or the stage and time or it will not be admissible.
  • Although there is no set date to finish by (since a winner is chosen by drive times, not who finished first), please don't take until March. (2012!)
  • Cars must be any production road car up to S700 worth 200,000CR or less. Modifications are allowed and not included in the budget, but drivetrain conversions, drag/race slicks, race wings/splitters, full weight reductions or race roll cages are not permitted. Your car must still appear road legal.
  • All races will be held in private lobbies with 11 other AI drivers on hard. The AI drivers can be any production car of your choice, but a mix of classes from F to B is urged for a better simulation of driving on public roads.
  • Simulation damage and collisions should always be on. Although some damage is ok, any cars damaged to the point that they cannot finish the race are asked to forfeit the competition, as their car is totaled. Although there will be no way to police this, I ask that we all use the honour system. Restarting the series if this happens is acceptable.
  • Paint jobs and liveries are encouraged. Every team should have a number that is clearly visible on the doors and hood of the car. A registration plate is also encouraged, I'll put a blank Equestria one on my storefront. Example:

  • In partnerships, no driver should complete 2 Stages in a row. If it is unavoidable, it can be done; but both racers should have completed 12 stages each by the end of the series.
  • Although cars can be tuned differently between races, upgrade parts should stay the same. IE: feel free to change the gear ratios, but please don't add a turbo once the race has started. I cannot, however, enforce this, so please use the honour system.
